I know I keep asking what engine has solid roller cams but I sure love them. I know they’re pain to mess with, but I got hooked with my buddies 358. He had Victor Junior heads on that thing…. I just recently bought a Lexus IS F , man let me tell you what a sweetheart of an engine this thing is it’s a 5 L V8 port both port and direct injected running titanium intake valves 11 5 to 1 compression forged internals thing takes 10 quarts of oil and two scavenger pumps….

I also had issues with my wiper switch {64 Merc} carefully took it apart cleaned all the contacts reassembled it and works like new, just like my breezeway window motor, removed cleaned works like new, older vehicles are meant to be repaired rather than just replace

Years ago i tried to buy a 1961 Ford Meteor Richelieu, a Canadian car. I see across the street from your garage the store Richelieu, , just sang lol. Meteor was a complete model from the Ford company only in Canada that a lot of people forget.

low compression for low octane isnt the same as cali smog checks. 1975 and older cars don’t require emissions checks. owner might want to run 87 octane fuel.
